Getting Started #

Guten Blocks (published under the plugin name “Adaire Blocks”) is a free Gutenberg block library focused on building modern WordPress pages — landing pages, agency sites and SaaS layouts — without relying on a heavy page builder. Every block in this guide outputs native, editable Gutenberg markup: no shortcodes, no proprietary lock-in.

What’s covered in this guide #

This document walks through all 21 free blocks available at gutenblocks.com/demos, organized into four categories, followed by the three ready-made page layouts built from those blocks and an expanded FAQ. Each block entry includes a plain-language overview, its key features, and where it’s best used, modeled on the structure used by Essential Blocks’ own documentation site (essential-blocks.com/docs).

How to use these blocks #

  • Open the WordPress block editor (or Full Site Editor) on a page or post.
  • Click the “+” inserter and search for the block by name (e.g. “Accordion”, “Pricing Plans”).
  • Insert the block and configure content directly in the editor canvas; use the block toolbar and settings sidebar for layout, style and animation options.
  • Combine multiple blocks inside a Row block to build multi-column sections, or start from one of the three full-page demo layouts described later in this guide.
